The Missouri Symphony is excited to announce and new staff member. Dominique Archambeau will join MOSY as the Director of Operations on December 11, 2023.
Learn a little about our newest team member:
Dominique Archambeau has been the Director of Creative Operations at the Knox-Galesburg Symphony since the summer of 2023. During her time with the KGS, she has aided in the launch of several projects outside of the regular concert season that directly benefits the Galesburg community, including a private lessons program and a community chamber music series. Prior to this appointment, she has managed several professional chamber music groups. Dominique is currently completing a doctoral degree in Viola Performance and Pedagogy with a secondary area in Chamber Music Entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa, where she is the former viola studio teaching assistant. Other teaching appointments include string faculty at Knox College (violin and viola; director, string ensemble), Kirkwood Community College (violin and viola), and the prestigious Preucil School of Music (viola and chamber music).
Dominique has performed as a soloist throughout the US and Eastern Europe and has been invited as a guest artist with residencies in the Green Lake Festival of Music, the Knox-Galesburg Symphony, and the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra. Dominique has been the Assistant Principal Viola at the Missouri Symphony since its inaugural Firefly Music Festival in 2023, and is excited for new adventures in Columbia with the MOSY team!
