We have been able to connect with people and hear their heartfelt stories of why MOSY matters to them.

Community matters: some dedicated volunteers remember the days of helping to restore the Missouri Theatre.

Education matters: others remember being student musicians under the baton of Maestro Vianello or Maestro Trevor.

Music matters: devoted concertgoers remember times of amazing concert experiences that will forever be etched in their memories.

Stories like this deeply matter. Music, education, and community matters.

MOSY matters.

This spring, we are launching the MOSY MATTERS campaign.

You can give one of our musicians the assurance that they are valued by our community. You can give one of our teaching artists the affirmation that you believe in the power of music education. You can help pay to send a musician into our community to play at places like City of Refuge or the Boys and Girls Club.

Your gift will let us know that MOSY matters to you.

This is a tough year for arts organizations. And for your Missouri Symphony, in spite of this challenge, we have committed to raising both musician pay in The Missouri Symphony Orchestra and teaching artist pay in The Missouri Symphony Conservatory. We want to retain and value the best of the best, both who we have playing on stage and who we have teaching the young people in our community.

Your gift of $100 pays for one service for an orchestra musician and one hour of teaching by our dedicated conservatory staff.
