Heroes of the Frontline

St. Louis Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster David Halen performs Bruch's Concerto in G minor and MSO performs Beethoven's Eroica Symphony to honor frontline and healthcare workers.

A Juneteenth 
Soulful Celebration

Featuring conductor Brandon Boyd, soprano NaGuanda Nobles, and a community chorus celebrating the music of the soulful tradition.

Dads: The Everyday Superheroes

A family concert celebrating all the fathers and father figures in our lives with an eclectic mix of classics, popular, and film music. 

Silent Movie:

Peter Pan

MSO will provide the Philip Carli soundtrack to the 1924 American Silent film adaptation featuring the boy who refuses to grow up.

Dress up as your favorite character from any version of Peter Pan for a chance to win a prize!

A Grand Night at the Opera

MOSY unrolls the red carpet to welcome four opera stars of the future singing the greatest hits of the opera stage including Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, and others.

Strike Up the Band

Our annual Tour Concert that features a cross section of music styles and genres.

Chamber Recital

MSO musicians perform in small groups with a wide range of repertoire from the Baroque to the very newest chamber works. 

A Whole Lotta Shakin':

Swing to Rock

Featuring artist Dave Bennett, this show is an adrenaline infused showcase of talents on clarinet, guitar, piano, drums, and more.  Audiences will hear classics by Benny Goodman, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, and originals from Bennett’s album Blood Moon.
Central Bank of Boone County

City That I Love:

Columbia Bicentennial Concert

Presented by Central Bank of Boone County

In collaboration with the City of Columbia, this concert celebrates the 200th anniversary of Columbia's founding and features MSO following Columbia's historical timeline with music from each era.

Bravo, Maestro Trevor!

MSO closes its 2021 masterworks offerings by performing Beethoven's Emperor Concerto with pianist Emi Kagawa. MSO will also perform Copland's Appalachian Spring and an explosive closing work, all in celebration of the legacy Maestro Trevor leaves with MOSY.

Breakin' Classical
